A Stranger Walks Amongst Us - MS Cymru
Well how exciting, to check in on my emails today only to find a copy of MS Cymru's newsletter sitting waiting for me, as promised by Mr Paul Saurin a few weeks back!
This came about by chance, as these things often do! Some Society members attended the inauguration of our new Mayor, Jacqueline Thomas, as did I. I was asked to write some poetry for that auspicious event which was read out on the evening and as a result, those members (I do not know their names, an oversight on my part) asked if I would also consider writing something for the MS Society. I was genuinely thrilled to be asked.
The result is a poem called 'A Stranger Walks Amongst Us' which Paul has very kindly published in this most recent newsletter, along with a quote from little old me, and links to my site.
I cannot express enough how honoured and privileged I felt to be asked to do this very small thing for this society. I am very proud to be able to relate this here now, and to share the link to their website too.
MS Cymru is the leading charity in Wales dedicated to beating Multiple Sclerosis. To find out more about who they are and what they do, click the link below. Helpline number is at the bottom of the page so scroll down to find it if you need their help or advice.
Thank you MS Cymru and I wish you all the very best in all of your endeavours!
