I have been very touched by the support that two of my new online friends have offered me in terms of my writing, in particular the Victorian Romance The Mill Owner's Son, and with emphasis on my soon to be released romance The Unschooled Heart.
My family and closest friends have always been supportive of me, but when someone you don't know and have never met offers encouragement, praise and solid, practical support out of the blue, it is a most gratifying and amazing feeling. For me, the thrill of knowing someone is not only reading my work but is enjoying it is a huge buzz!
And for the first time ever this week, someone referred to themselves as my 'fan!' Chuffed to pieces!
Thank you wholeheartedly to both of you and to all those who keep me going. I will carry on writing simply because it is something I have always done since childhood. It is part of me, as necessary as breathing. But to know there is someone out there wanting me to do so gives so much more power to my elbow!
Thank you! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, wherever you are and whatever you might be doing.
(Oh, before I go, there is a new Saturday Silliness: Little Limerick over on the Limericks page. Enjoy!)
