Brutal Truths - Mindless Trilogy #3
Mindless Trilogy Book 3
Final part of the Mindless Trilogy available now on Kindle!
The zombies are still out there, a constant threat,Thinkers pose an even greater danger and survival is the order of the day; in some ways, nothing much has changed for Lavender and Carson. Yet everything is changing, too. Lavender knows it in her heart, though she works hard to stop her mind from accepting it. She has little choice but to face up to reality when they unwittingly fall in with a small group of survivors; a motley collection of teenagers and their erstwhile youth leader, Joel. Taking an instant dislike to the man, it is not long before Lavender and Carson move on, though this time, they are taking something of Joel’s with them.
Something Joel wants back.
Something Lavender is determined not to give him.
I am hugely grateful to anyone who takes the time to review my work, be it a line or an essay! Thank you, sincerely.

Book 3 of the series was every bit as great as the first 2. I won't spoil it for anyone by giving away details, but if you read the first two books you owe it to yourself to read this one. I really got caught up in this series. I know it's now being called a trilogy but if there's ever a fourth book I'll be one of the first to buy it.
Brutal Truths - 3 out of 5 stars Worth reading

"On finishing book 3 I was still wanting to know more. The book is still worth reading as far as zombie books go. It has a good amount of suspense in it and characters you love and hate

Book Three of the Mindless Trilogy hits the ground running then careers on, like a runaway truck, leaving a trail of bodies in its wake, human and zombie.
In this outing, Lavender and Carson square up to a villain whose soul is as rotten as the bodies of the zombies whose ascension has enabled him to indulge his vile habits.
The story blends action, tragedy and triumph to bring a satisfying, if unexpected, conclusion to the trilogy.
Don't start this book late in the day, as you will not be able to put it down. I finished it at 2 a.m. It's 20% longer than Book Two.
If you haven't read the precursors, I would suggest doing that first, to enjoy the whole story.
In fact, with Book One available for free, you can obtain the whole set for less than a latte and a bun at your local coffee shop, and the pleasure will last longer.
Binge read the lot, one after another!
I'm only sad that the story has now run its course, but watch with interest, to see what S.P. Oldham has to offer next.
Author's Note: Book One is not permanently free and can only be claimed as such if you are on Amazon Prime.

This is my voluntary review of an ARC copy. I have read the whole series & this instalment was as brilliant, fast paced, gory and riveting as the previous two books.
You will see further development of the main characters and introduction of new characters. There are some shockers ahead. I hope you enjoy this book and the whole series as much as I have.
